Congratulations to the SGV Arsenal on winning the Mickey Mantle West regional tournament. SGV Arsenal will now advance to Mantle World Series in McKinney, Texas on August 4-9. Players will be arriving to Texas August 3rd. The Arsenal went 5-0 in the tournament while defeated the Cal Rockies in the championship game. Steven Baltierra(HH Wilson) threw a no hitter in the championship game.

Congrats and Good Luck in Texas. There were some good teams at the Regional and you guys did a good hosting the event. Post updates here if you can.

SGV Arsenal Wins Mickey Mantle World Series with Mercy in the Championship Game. Props to the DBATS out of Texas who won the 1st game of Championship series beating the Arsenal 10-9, but Arsenal came right back in the 2nd Championship game to mercy them 12-2 in 5 innings.
Overall the SGV Arsenal had tremendous production from the entire team, but props to Kenny Chapman (Claremont '12) being names Tournament MVP going 2-0 on the bump and hitting .380. Vahn Bozoian wins the Hitting MVP hitting almost .600 for the event including a couple of home runs. SGV not only wins the National Championship but also is awarded the Sportsmanship Award for the event.

Congrats to the SGVArsenal on their Mantle World Series win!
This is not a tournament that takes a week to win. It takes a summer to win. Very much like a CIF Championship or a college conference win. It takes determined and committed young players.
Forget Sparq ratings, these are the kids colleges should look for. GAMERS!
